China shuts down fake Apple Stores

The Chinese government has shut several fake Apple stores in Kunming city after the elaborate fake stores were exposed on a blog.  Two of the five elaborate stores, complete with faux uniforms and staff that apparently believed they worked for Apple, have now been closed as their owners lacked a business licence.

Even though the stores are fake, some even mimicking the iconic Apple Store aesthetic, many have a licence to trade and sell genuine Apple products.  If the products are genuine, does it matter if the store is a fake? Apple has no comment to make on the discovery of the counterfeit shops.
